hmm... where to start?

Well, here I am - I've joined blog land and I've no idea what I should really write here, so I'll probably end up with a lot of rambling and not a lot making sense lol.

At the moment I'm working on building up our stocks of greetings cards and keepsake cards as we've got five crafty events between now and Christmas, and I also need over 100 christmas cards for our own use so I'm going to be kinda busy. I've also been working on a new range of crochet hats and continuing with the crochet baby blankets so as you can imagine there are bits and pieces everywhere and lots of unfinished projects - I really must learn to finish one thing before moving onto the next!!

As Christmas is fast approaching (it's exactly two months today) we've been thinking about presents and with the current financial state and over priced goodies in the shops, we've decided to give as many handcrafted gifts as possible this year... I just hope that people appreciate the time and thought that's going into them!! So far we've decided on the following gifts:

Nicola (cousin in NZ) - hand crochet bag and a crafty kit for making cards

Callum (cousin in NZ) - Highland Kiwi picture, this is a family thing as he is dual nationality Newzealander-Scottish

Gran - Box of handcrafted greetings cards and candles

My dad - Painting and perhaps a small luxury food hamper, maybe with a few homemade foody goodies

Allan (friend) - Acrylic ten pin bowling painting

Hubby - Crochet hat, scarf and gloves. Watercolour painting.

That just leaves the father in law and our friends two little girls, I'm sure we'll come up with something for them though.

Well, I'll leave this here as I don't even know if anyone will read it lol.
